How we keep quality high and prices low
Reduced facility cost
01We partner with local commercial kitchens that have regular periods where they sit empty — turning downtime into a third space.
Reduced labor cost
02Members get weekly meals at the lowest price and cowork 1hr a week. These shifts include tasks you're already familiar with like shopping, cooking, or cleaning.
And yes — it can get even cheaper than $4
The Table
The co-op table is built by the members, guests, and partners working together to keep each other fed. Membership isn't the only form of participation, there is a seat for everyone.

Partluck
We're a co-op that builds co-ops. We help neighborhoods run their own "tables" that cook and eat together.
We handle the tools, structure, and support that keep every table running — so each community can focus on what matters: the food and the people around it.
One platform, three sides of the table
For table members
- ✓Community table matching made easy
- ✓Shared co-op tools that keep things simple
- ✓Save time and money, every week
For host kitchens
- ✓Fair terms and schedules, handled for you
- ✓Clear rules and oversight so nothing falls through the cracks
- ✓Licensing and insurance tracking, all in one place
- ✓Day-to-day logistics tools
For the community
- ✓Partnerships with local businesses that keep money in the neighborhood
- ✓Surplus meals sold to non-members so nothing goes to waste
- ✓Extra food redistributed to those who need it most
The Host Kitchen
We work with local kitchens to turn their empty hours into an opportunity and provide a platform that makes it easy to manage the liability and operations of the exchange.
Small Restaurants & Commissaries
Rent, utilities, insurance, and equipment leases don't pause when the dining room is empty. Slow dayparts and quiet weekdays mean paying overhead on hours that aren't earning.
We provide → Co-op revenue sharing gives you a way to make use of downtime — plus a standing buyer for surplus stock and group wholesale pricing when you want to maximize your orders.
Churches & Faith Buildings
Regular downtime throughout the week is true for many congregations — and filling that time with volunteers can be difficult to manage and sustain.
We provide → Contribution to your overhead, and a turnkey way to feed your neighborhood — we bring the people, the structure, and the logistics, so serving doesn't depend on finding volunteers.
Read our commitment to neutrality ››Senior Centers
Seniors increasingly face a loneliness epidemic — but tight budgets and thin staffing make it hard to keep things engaging.
We provide → Recurring shared-table activity that brings people together, supplemental income toward your costs, and an intergenerational mix that draws new faces through the door.
Ok cool so
HOW DO I JOIN!?
Where We’re At
We have the vision. Now we need your input to make sure we do it right.
Our first search is for kitchen-operations professionals in NJ and NYC. They help us lay the legal, regulatory, and operational groundwork the whole co-op stands on.
What YOU can do
If you want to join a table, tell us your neighborhood so we know where the demand is. If you want to contribute to the pilot, use the form to volunteer or nominate help.
Is this you, or someone you know?
We’re looking for people who’ve run real kitchen operations and know the rules. Nominate them, or raise your own hand.
Experience in
Kitchen Operations
Running a commercial or institutional kitchen day to day.
NYC / NJ Food Regulations
Licensing, inspections, and what it takes to pass them.
Bonus: Directly relevant settings
Ready-made meals, commissary, volunteer, or church kitchens.
Two ways to pitch in
EITHER
Ongoing
About an hour a week helping shape operations as we build.
OR
